Send your original haiku to submissions at haikuverymuch dot com, but use the symbols @ and . instead of words in your email. By submitting your haiku, you confirm that you are its author and give permission for Haiku Very Much to publish it/them.  We'll publish the best entries here.

our worst leak ever
all eyes fixed on the Gulf coast
we wait and wonder
           ed levy

grief for living things
man-made inky death at sea
greed and greed again

“Mom, they’ve paved the Sound!”
Over twenty years ago.
Valdez, Alaska.

Sad words from my son.
Blue water, now black with oil,
Birds      seals     salmon       gone.

Another spill        now!
This time a Gulf, much more oil,
Next time-----an ocean?
